PowerWorld Training

The training sessions are held by Dr. Thomas J. Overbye. Dr. Overbye is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University (TAMU) and the original developer of PowerWorld Simulator, an innovative, widely used software package for power system analysis and visualization, and a co-founder of PowerWorld Corporation.

MERIT 2016 Software Training

This software supplements the book “Design, Modeling and Evaluation of Protective Relays for Power Systems” published by M. Kezunovic, J. Ren and S. LotfifardMKezunovic (2016) and has been in use since 2000 in laboratory assignments in courses at Texas A&M University. The software and its manual can be downloaded for free here.
