Smart Grid Center Advisory Board Meeting Held in April 2017

The Advisory Board of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station Smart Grid Center (SGC) held its eighth meeting on April 17th, 2017. DSCN1482

Mr. John D. McDonald, Vice Chair of Advisory Board (Director, Technical Strategy & Policy Development, GE Grid Solutions);
Mr. Pat Wood, III (Principal, Wood3 Resources);

Mr. Andy Acker (Assistant Vice President for Development, College of Engineering, TAMU);
Dr. Kevin Ding (Director, Control Systems, CenterPoint Energy);

The Agenda included a Tour of the SGC Control Center Testbed in WEB.

Presentation by the Director was given on the status of the Center, its business model, business plan, and budget for 2017-2020, and potential new Board members.
