Call for Papers: The 2017 Texas Power and Energy Conference (TPEC 2017)

The IEEE PES/PELS/IAS Joint Student Organization at Texas A&M University invites the students to a first-of-its-kind student-led conference in Texas. The Texas Power and Energy Conference (TPEC) will be kicked off on February 9-10, 2017 at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA.

 

This two-day conference will bring together participants from industry and academia to shape research and development for power grid technology in the state of Texas. The event will be featuring papers and presentations from students and professionals, poster sessions, plenary lectures and panel discussions from industry and academic participants nationally and internationally, a mini job fair and networking, as well as several keynote speeches by distinguished lecturers in the field.

 

TPEC 2017 calls for the submissions of high-quality, original technical research papers in all areas of electric power and energy engineering, including power systems, power electronics, electric machines, as well as the applications of data sciences, statistics, and optimizations in all aspects of electric power and energy engineering. Full six-page paper submissions are open now and due November 28, 2016.
