Arum Han and his team have recently written a paper and it has made it into a cover article in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Volume 113, Number 8. Biotechnology and Bioengineering is a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Their paper, “A Droplet Microfluidics Platform for Rapid Microalgal Growth and Oil Production Analysis,” covers an experiment on microalgae biofuel work. The team consisted of Hyun Soo Kim, postdoctoral researcher; Adrian R. Guzman, Ph.D. student; Hem R. Thapa, graduate researcher; Timothy P. Devarenne, associate professor; and Arum Han, associate professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of NanoBio Systems Laboratory.
