NSF Workshop on Cyber-Enabled Infrastructure to Support Carbon-Neutral Electricity and Mobility, April 24-25, 2023 

The Workshop on Cyber-Enabled Infrastructure to Support Carbon-Neutral Electricity and Mobility sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) was held at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center on April 24-25, 2023. The Organizing team was led by Dr. Le Xie, Assistant Director for Research of Smart Grid Center (SGC) (Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering; Segers Family Dean’s Excellence Professor, Chancellor EDGES Fellow, Presidential Impact Fellow). This event included keynote speeches presented by Pat Wood, III (CEO, Hunt Energy Network and Hunt Power) and Dr. Steven Low (Frank J. Gillon Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and Electrical Engineering, Caltech), 4 panelist discussions, 3 breakout sessions, a poster session, and an optional technical tour to the SGC Control Room Lab facilities located at Center for Infrastructure Renewal on the TAMUS RELLIS Campus. It had more than 120 invited attendees including several SGC faculty collaborators. The agenda of the event is posted here.
