TAMU Site PI for NSF Institute for Data-Intensive Research – Le Xie

 

Dr. Le Xie (TEES SGC Collaborator; Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Assistant Director, Texas A&M Energy Institute) became the site principal investigator (PI) at Texas A&M for the Institute for Data-Intensive Research funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and lead by Lalitha Sankar (Associate Professor, Dept. Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering, ASU).  For advancing power system efficiency, Xie, a well-known leader in data mining, will develop data analytics for synthetic data of phasor measurement units (PMUs), or synchrophasors, in this collaboration.
