On May 30th, 2016, Payman Dehghanian, a Ph.D. student, was selected among the 15% of applicants to receive a grant from the Sigma Xi Committee on Grants-in-Aid of Research program. Sigma Xi is the global science society that aims to reward excellence in scientific research and to encourage a sense of companionship and cooperation among scientists in all fields of research, science and technology.
Dehghanian’s supervising professor is Dr. Mladen Kezunovic, Eugene E. Webb Professor at ECE, Texas A&M, and Director, TEES Smart Grid Center.
