Paymen Dehghanian, a Ph.D. Candidate at the ECE, has been selected to be among the Top 20 Young Scholars for Next Generation of Researchers in Power Systems. According to the nomination guidelines, “the best young researchers of the research groups and Electrical Engineering departments“ from the universities around the globe were nominated and 20 of them were selected. Being selected, he is invited to attend the “10th anniversary seminar for Next Generation of Researchers in Power Systems” to be held on May 23-25, 2016 in University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. He will have the chance to present his research and be placed under creativity training’s to solve the major challenges of the future electricity grids.
