Ahad Esmaeilian, Ph.D. candidate (ECE), is the recipient of the ConocoPhillips Fellowship 2015 that was awarded to support his research titled “Preventing Major Blackouts in Smart Electricity Grid Using Wide Area Synchrophasor Measurements”. His supervisor is Dr. Mladen Kezunovic, Eugene E. Webb professor.
