Dr. Tomo Popovic, Research Engineer for the Smart Grid Center for three years, will move on to another job overseas. While at the Smart Grid Center, Tomo was a part of several projects, most notably the Robust Adaptive Topology Control (RATC) project developing RATC toolset used in topology control for power grid contingency management. He was also involved in the Power System Control and Protection Lab and various synchrophasor-related research and development activities.
Tomo was a great collaborator, adviser, and friend who will be missed. We all wish him great success as he moves forward in his career.
