Dr. Erchin Serpedin and his collaborators, Miao Wang (lead author, University of Waterloo), Ran Zhang and Dr. Xuemin Shen (University of Waterloo), Dr. Khalid Qaraqe, and Dr. Muhammad Ismail (Texas A&M University in Qatar) were awarded a prestigious Best Paper Award at the IEEE GLOBECOM 2014 conference held in Austin, TX, U.S.A., during December 8-12, 2014. Their paper was titled “A Semi-Distributed V2V Fast Charging Strategy Based on Price Control“ and was sponsored by the Qatar National Research Foundation. More information can be found here.
