Upcoming Smart Grid Short Courses, September-October, 2019

Registration is open for the following smart grid short courses to be held in September and October. Both short courses are held at the Smart Grids Control Center training facility at the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) at RELLIS campus.

  • On September 24-26, 2019: Electric Grid Dynamics and Stability  with course director  Thomas Overbye, TEES Eminent Professor, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, TAMU; Associate Director of TEES Smart Grid Center. More on this course can be found here.
  • On October 22-24, 2019: Big Data Analytics for Outage and Asset Management with course director  Mladen Kezunovic, E.E. Webb Professor, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, TAMU; Director of TEES Smart Grid Center. More on this course can be found here. Rooms in a hotel block at the Texas state rate ($101/night) is arranged at the Stella Hotel. This is the closest hotel to the RELLIS Campus where the short course will be held. Number of rooms are limited. The cut-off date for booking rooms in this block is 9/23/2019 at midnight.
