Powell Fellowship Award – Mohammad Khoshjahan

Congratulations to Mohammad Khoshjahan, PhD student for Dr. Mladen Kezunovic (Director of Smart Grid Center), for receiving The Powell Fellowship Award. Mr. Khoshjahan is the recipient of the “Thomas W. Powell ’62 and Powell Industries Inc.” Fellowship in the amount of $1000 for the period of September 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. The Powell Fellowship is the highest recognition that a full-time, currently enrolled student can receive in the Electric Power Systems and Power Electronics group at Texas A&M Engineering.

The recipients are selected based on their academic achievements. In my PhD research, under the supervision of Prof. Kezunovic, I work on the Impacts of the grid resilience on the wholesale electricity markets.
